until I met a few guys trading 100lots and grabbing ticks with $MM accounts.
My guess is they can do that because they subscribe to signal providers.

It was possible once. HFT is even struggling to do this profitbly now. No way are DIY day traders still doing this consistently.

obvious, meant every tick collected than demonstrated 10 sec intervali just read a conversation on another forum where someone says thaey use a ''10 second tick chart'' Is this a real thing?
a 10 second chart makes a new bar every 10 seconds, and a 10 tick chart does so every time 10 trades has taken place.
