I'll trust a chart posted by someone with a trading plan and with rules, e.g., NoDoji. Screen shots of various sorts? I've been around too long and seen them in all their creative variations to pay them any attention.

Actually, charts are the easiest ones to fake, when done in hindsight, after the fact..
DB, why were you banished from ET over a decade ago? It was before my time here, and just curious. Same type of people accosting you over the same reasons back then?

They're easy to fake if one hasn't posted a trading plan along with the requisite rules. If you can find a chart I've posted that doesn't follow the rules I've also posted, please let me know so that I can either explain the chart or apologize for the error.
As for being banished, you'll have to ask Baron.

look, enjoy your gang. from watching american greed et al , you are not the first or the last to talk a great game and have a never ending gaggle of suckers.
posting a screen of an entry or even calling it at the proper time (as DP has asked) is not the only definitive answer; but it is part of bringing a legit aspect to ur "game"
its laughable that anyone would say/believe screens and proper "before the fact" market calls are not needed and always faked (and if so, they deserve to lose).
you guys do a great job drowning out the truth, kudos.
for me..i'll stick to my contention that trader p/l is the rare legit ET thread over here..
These type threads and all the negative responses they seem to elicit used to get me a bit flustered. Now, to borrow a view from DB, I see many of these negative posters as very damaged traders.
From what I can tell, they are failed traders for the most part. Failed usually psychologically as well as financially. Clearly a lot of ego issues here.

That's very true! I'm not questioning you, or your methods, in fact, I've learned quite a few things from you and others such as, wrbtrader (NihabaAshi) in the years past. ET has been a great source of knowledge library. I've learned more from ET, than from the books.
Now, NoDoji on the other hand, I'm not so sure, whenever she posts a picture of herself, it's always the crazy eyes....:eek:

I understand, and you've been very polite. And I appreciate it. And, yes, Mark is good. Too often forgotten since he doesn't particularly enjoy these flinging episodes
But I've seen a lot of hotshots fall in the last twenty years, particularly in '00, so I'm just not impressed with screenshots. OTOH, I forecast 1900 in the ES two months ago (looks like I was off by 12pts) and I've been forecasting these levels in the NQ since last July, though I did adjust for the change in the stride in November (without that, I'd be off by about 180). If there are those who don't know what to do with that, and there appear to be many, there's not much else I can do. Either one can draw a straight line or he can't.
As for ET, yes, there's a ton of good information here if one knows where to look. One must try not to forget that it exists.
I've been trading the same method for nearly 4 years now and the edge hasn't gone anywhere. Price action trading is dynamic and the behavior of price around levels of "value" tells me what to do. If the volatility is low, fewer trades reach my minimum target; if the volatility is high, more trades reach my minimum target and often run much further. The net result either way is profitability over each series of N trades.

These are the same price concepts I've been trading all these years. I haven't been shape shifting my methods, or hiding the losers in hindsight charts (I'm still giggling regularly over that one).
Anyone who's willing to conduct a thorough study of these concepts as applied to their chosen instrument(s) using the common 5-min/1-min day trading combo (or equivalent in tick or range charts) will find a sustainable edge hitching rides with the large traders who move price.
