They didn't used to straight as far as there users where concerned, but 5+ years ago they went non dealer desk, since then 100% straight just like IB or whatever.

I trade DAX with a 1pt spread and no comms I'm happy :)

i dont know what its like in the us markets but here in australia,you can say the markets are choppy and very hard to swing trade.you are lucky to get 2 legs in the swing,the markets are all over the place.at least in day trading i can nibble and get more profits out of it.

I've had clean swing trades with SPI (ASX200) index futures. It's all a matter of entering at levels that have been shown to be respected - basic trading stuff.

Day trading is the best way to trade if you are a market maker; as far as making a profit my records prove swing-position trading is much better. Rich ''turtle'' Dennis noted there is an insurance premium for over nite holds-wise way to put it. Your results may differ; keep good records+ compare .NOT a prediction-wisdom is profitable to direct
 
I am treat forex as part time business and usually in my plan always using swing trading strartegy than using intraday and scalping, but indeed not always I can making profit and sometime loss has occured,

That's not too bad on FX, stocks or indexs exposes you to a SL ignoring gap every day.

Over night holds on stocks and gaps was a real profit killer.
 
I am believer that is you love life and you love work, pretty much covers it all and you more likely not allow people to hold you back. More people cause they unable to do something or just plain jealous if you get ahead of them financially will say it can't be done. Let them watch on the couch whether you fulfill your life or fail, either way it is better to fail than just sit there. Failures are really Opportunities to do again and again to overcome and you know other ways of how not to do something. So many people in this world are so negative cause most likely they have problems and instead of overcoming them, they just try to spread negativity around, I feel sorry for them, but they will never slow me down, all people have ability to keep moving.

Beginnings all many parts of life are the most risky, using hedge at start would offset any Gaps that can happen, of course gaps with us, we don't have problems do we? LOL

Gaps with rarely happen, mainly due to trying to pick a bottom in a downtrend so odds are gaps are against you.

Gaps against while your asleep hit the SL worst exit, and gaps your way close by the time you wake, can never win.

And yes keep going, might look like your doing the same thing again, but you might not be as youve maybe learned and grown.
