Is crime hurting out economy ?

...more goods are stolen from employees...

During my most recent visit (vacation) to the United States, I was in a discussion with a Walmart manager and a security guard at the store that began with us talking about the military branch we had served...

The Walmart manager stated employees steal almost 2x more than looters even though his store has never been looted.

How much do you think the price of crime is on our economy? Think about businesses that are forces to close down because of violent criminals and what the economic consequences are to those communities. It alsi has to play a big role with inflation as well.
We have all witnessed the rampant theft and total disregard for the law. Look at what they are doing in Philadelphia, its outrageous!

It is reparations for the 13 percenters.

Did your education include a course in logic?

He managed other Walmarts in the past. The one we were at for our discussion...his 3rd Walmart.

Also, he stated it's not uncommon to see shoppers who are carrying concealed weapons.

Jokingly I said how ?

He said sometimes when they bend over or reach up for an item above their head. :D

In the United States, I came across more people in stores carrying concealed weapons in the summer I was there in all of the past 10 years in Canada or France.

I didn't see that to such a level before the Pandemic.

I've identified several Republican states with LESS strict policies on retail theft in a recent thread.

My point, it's happening everywhere in America...democrat and republican states...weak laws on retail organized crime regardless of the state, city, or county.

Correct. There is no data supporting the idea that there is more crime under democratic leadership. In every election in which democrats are in power...and I've seen a lot of them...republicans never fail to roll out the soft on crime playbook.

Probably his last since 2x0=0. Guess he's not in charge of cycle counts.

Seems like a lot of retail stores across America must be having problems with "cycle counts" and their RFID tagging sucks so bad that employees are exploiting it (stealing). :D

Ocean people makes it looks so easy...

Then there are these people, coupon queens.

Fact- Liberal cities are much more dangerous than a republican lead city. Look at the 5 most dangerous cities in America, all Liberal.
No excuse for looting and uncivilized behavior in those liberal cities.

Your city must suck because you complain often via different user names in the past year or so.

I recommend Yoga and some positivity time with a love one. Next, pack your bags and then move to one of the below "Safest Cities in America". Simply, take a deep breath and focus on "Safest" and not "Dangerous" especially if you have a family.

P.S. Omaha, Nebraska & Naperville, Illinois are very safe places to live and raise a family. Could be a good place for you. Provo, Utah is also very nice...decent skiing too in Provo for nice family weekends of fun.
