there's more threads devoted to this one guy on here than any other. Why is that? Maybe because those who choose to follow his advice to the letter T without doing their own research and happen to get burned always end up on here bittching and whining about it. Own up to your own mistakes and take responsiblity for your actions. Sick and tired of hearing you people whining about it. NOW, if there were actual useful analysis from ET users on the mechanics of why he made certain calls and how hecame to those conclusions , then that would be a good topic to discuss. Regardless of whether it's a good or bad call.

You're kidding me, right. In order to bring the buyers he needed to make a compelling case for buying the stock. At this point, even great results are priced in, IMO. Time will tell!

he sure moved cat today...and I was short coming into it. Does anyone know what was said?
I admit he can be entertaining, but his viewer numbers will drop just as soon as we have an extended market downturn.Quote from TakeAChance:
He projected good earnings and tied improved guidance to oil sector demand for their specialized machines. Then recommended to buy before the earnings. I was watching his TV 'outburst', that same time CAT started a rally in AH. The guy has viewers!

I dont think anyone here is taking his calls. They just want to prove that because they scalp ie have no opinions (ie never have to make a call) that they are always right where he (a hedge fund manager) is wrong. it comes down to knocking someone to feel good about yourself.
