If interrupted by some sort of catastrophe, such as 9/11, the price could be VERY different.

If there is a black swan event that causes ES trading to hault, why would it reopen at the same price?

If a stock gets haulted for news dissemination or an order imbalance, would it reopen at the same price?

probably a typo, but hault is "halt"
