Is China crashing?

DAX up +0.21% hmmmmmm Careful shorting ES or ESTX50 or DAX prematurely on these China sell-off's. We aren't done before we aren't done.
 
China down 8.26%, ES only down 275.

At times like these, I wish I'd have kept a futures account open. (I have equities & options accounts but no futures). ES will certainly be down over 500 before the open.
 
It is now time to fold the flag over the Shanghai. The Shanghai market will now be the Nasdaq-100 of 2000 where it will fall mercilessly. Other markets will be sure to follow and, if they dont, there will be considerable chop in the months to come.
 
i hope i don't offend anyone from china, but how the heck can the government just triple the capital gains tax overnight like that?
 
There are early signs of a divergence on the S&P weekly chart in MACD histogram.

To re-phrase - divergence is already there, early signs of a possible retrace back towards 50%(20ma currently) and perhaps lower, who knows.

They didn't "triple the capital gains tax"... they raised the "transaction tax" from 0.1% to 0.3%. Before it was 0.1%, it had been 0.6%.

Much ado about nothing.
