It's just professional respect for somebody who has amassed AUM along with believers in a short time. That's what the game is really about. Cathy is a case study for all professional managers.
 
I rarely watch CNBC, but I remember how much coverage they gave her in 2020 and 2021. You'll never stay ahead of the market watching a network that follows the market.

that is the business. In another thread I mentioned that when you understand ark you understand Wall Street.

In any case I was wrong about cathie. She raised 54 billion. And while madoff was a fraud, cathie has a legitimate highly successful business catering to a specific investor class.

I hope she hedged otherwise she's just going to be another Bill Hwang, just investing in a particular segment of an asset class. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. Nobody has a highly successful business catering to investors forever.
