Is catching the trend early risky? Should stop-loss be more liberal?

Then why have a stop loss at all?

Valid question. Stop-loss is not needed when we are trading early trend on a index (non currency/commodity)

I have an opinion that the so-called "stop hunting" is a myth. "Stop hunting" is simply a natural development of market structure. Therefore, by having a deep understanding of market structures and market phases, one can avoid getting stopped out by entering at a point where stop hunting is no longer possible, and the trend will purely and decisively continue.
