Is calling for genocide protected by free speech?

Are we a well enough educated society to be allowed free speech? Approximately 30 million people are making me question whether we are; yet the alternative of having government regulated speech concerns me even more.

This is what happens when the penduluum swings too far and you see university president's fired... no one wants to be next so it is easier to boot a professor..

Sadly the professor has little recourse except to claim it was done outside of the normal process. School can claim he didnt follow formal procedure but doubt that is a fireable offense...

So much for free speech... I bet if the prof held a rally for Israel nothing would have happened.

A professor helping a group which promotes the elimination of all Jews is a good reason for the professor to be sent packing.

If the professor helped a KKK group promoting the elimination of all blacks — would that be ok from a “free speech” perspective?

I would need to see what the group's message was and what they advocated. If they marched condeming Hamas and Israeli killing of civilians then the group would have a right to be on campus. If the group said all jews must die then...no.
