Is Benzinga Pro actually real-time?

Certainly not faster than Twitter. Nothing is faster. That is why Bloomberg and Refinitiv and others invest millions in technology and algorithms to get processing tweets right.

Probably Bloomberg terminal.

What news is published earlier on twitter than on a Bloomberg Terminal, except for original tweets of course ...

My squawk that i use even easily beats every Twitter feed i ever found.

Any news other than economic releases. Here my offer, name a recent event and I provide you with the exact timestamps of each service, Twitter, Bloomberg, and Eikon. I have access to all three.

I don't have any particular examples on mind right now, at least not recent ones.

If there are any next week i will definitely let you know, so i can compare them to my squawk.

I'm curious, what are the Twitter feeds you are using? I tried all the well known feeds for providing news and none where faster than LiveSquawk.

That would be great. What about proprietary content like analyst upgrades/downgrades?

proprietary content obviously depends on how it is disseminated. Most likely it is not appearing on Twitter first.

That would be great. What about proprietary content like analyst upgrades/downgrades?

@FTDK By no means I am challenging your statement. I probably could never subscribe to Bloomberg as it sounds expensive for someone like me. But on May 20th I saw this.
At 11.57 on May 20 twitter news broke with a headline "News pending Risk here time to sell". It was then followed by another tweet at a minute later that senate passed the chinese corp delisting vote.
Between 11:57 and 12:02 ES was trending up from 2962 and reached 2966 peak at 12.02. I had a full 3 -4 minutes to react and was infact surprised to see it trend up. I didn't short ES as I assumed I would be taking countertrend risk and passed the opportunity. It was a costly pass in hindsight. Wondering why market took so long to react. Infact BABA sell off was delayed too. The sources that I have access to via IB and TD Ameritrade headlines were late in broadcasts. I couldn't get the timing for those sources now but getting time from twitter is fast.
I would be curious to find when top of the line news breakers like Bloomberg reported the news.
Thank you.
