Very successful, although his books are very nebulous in figuring out his precise methods. He made 50 million dollars in the early 20th century, when that easily put you in the top .01% of wealth in the US.

This reminded me of my former forex coach.

The taught us various strategies.
Occassionally (it means very very rarely because he earnt money from teaching, not trading)
he would post his trade BUT be never never ever used the strategy which he taught us.
