Is an MBA worth it?

Israel has only 1 day more to bomb Iran. There are more important things in life than a MBA or any other job.

What do people here think? Will Israel bomb Iran tomorrow?

I remember reading a post here that said w/ a regular college degree you make 1.6 million more in a lifetime, but now you only make 400k. And once you factor in cost of tuition, higher taxes... it's barely worth it.

What about an MBA

Yes. But only because its a KEY to a door or a "badge" that let's you jump to the front of life's many queues. Other than that its a load of bs.

MBA is waste of money and time. To be successful, a person should know how to deal with people in real life and this he learns when he actually goes out to deal with people in real life.

Excellent point! Kudos! :D

MBA basically teaches you how to make PowerPoint presentations. Nothing you can't learn or pay someone else to do. It's a complete waste. If you want a worthwhile degree to help you in business. Trading or otherwise. A law degree is your ticket. A license to practice law is far more advantageous to the small or large business person. MBA total joke outside of the corporate slave class. People with an MBA who make it in biz do it despite having one not because of having one.

an MBA is not for the education, its for the opportunity to network with future leaders and entrepreneurs.

Pretty dumb of someone to pay that kind of money and time just for the sake of networking. I've seen people network just through linkedin.

Good point but 90% of linked in are wannabes and social rejects with exagerated credentials. While there are some good people on LinkedIn. Be very cautious.
