If you are truly concerned about latency, we offer a few VPS-Colocation Solutions:

Here is the link to AMP Margins: https://www.ampfutures.com/trading-info/margins/

For most trading platforms, once live account is funded with minimum of $100 – you will get streaming, continual access to both live and demo.

We look forward to supporting you reach your trading goals!

Thanks AMP & bpr,

I didn't know there were VPS solutions, that's something I would look into should I experience any issues.

I think funding an account with $100 is for an FX account isn't it??
When I asked online support I was told $500 (I think CQG Desktop, WTI futures)... If it is $100 I would have funded my account years ago lol.

Thanks for your replies

I am in the UK...……..………….
I have an Apple Imac-rather than download other programmes to enable Windows to operate on an Apple machine I tried the MT5 browser. Dreadful charting in that you cannot alter line thickness on ma's or change colour etc. Perhaps AMP could provide alternatives to MT5 or better web based (browser) chart/trading platforms ?
Big plus with AMP Europe ( For us UK traders) is that you can fund your account via card.

Hi Toby,

Thanks for the reply. I've not tried MT5 browser, but CQGM (desktop) is a very good browser option, great functionality. The only thing I don't like is the fact that everything is squashed into one screen/browser window. Maybe difficult to achieve this via a browser l, compared to software installed locally. I'm using x2 15" monitor, so a bit small really. I'm going to try it using my 32" lcd tv so I've got more screen to spread things about.
Having said that, you still can't monitor 2 things at the same time e.g. crude and gold, because they have to be setup in separate window/work spaces and you have to flick back n forth, not ideal during times of high volatility.
Depends how you trade. If those things aren't an issue for you then I'd defo recommend CQGM, it is good! Plus I just seem to be able to make money with that, not so much with anything else.

The only issue at the moment is the download doesn't seem to be working via amp futures/platforms, keeps saying request failed. I have spoke to amp support who said they'd look into it, but it has been like it for quite a while now. You can sign up/request demo via CQG which definitely works.

If you like it and want to use it via AMP you'll have to get onto them to sort it, if not done already

Have sent message to AMP re poor quality of MT5 browser based platform, but any action could take months ?
In EUROPE ( UK ) we have only one choice with AMP - their MT5 platform, which is okay on MICROSOFT machines but not on APPLE iMacs which require one to download a fix which I will not do. Thus one is left with the browser/web based MT5 which is very poor in comparison to others.............would be nice if AMP offered UK users other alternative platforms or web based browser options.

Why can't you use CQGM? It's browser based and free to use. Available from AMP.

@toby400 - The Web Browser is one of the 4 available versions with AMP's MT5. You can use all versions universally with your AMP trading account.

Another option to use MT5 with Mac is to install parallels: https://www.parallels.com/eu/
Then you can run MT5 Desktop version and use mobile or web version when away from your desktop.

No - I do not want to use "parallels" or "wine" etc - What about "Motive wave" for Mac users in Europe ? Could you add them for us Mac users?
