Thing is one doesn't choose the attitude they have it chooses them unless they're faking it sort of like what they say about loving someone. Only reason they would do that would be if it made them sick because the food was somehow tainted. It would be morally wrong to feed someone poison just because they are hungry.

Perhaps morally bankrupt is too strong a phrase, Perhaps Ethically bankrupt is a better term, since it has no religious conotation.

nope. perfectly good food is thrown away because its best by date has passed. should it be destroyed even though many suffer from starvation or would the right sensable thing to do be to salvage that food.

should good cells be destroyed just because they arent needed even though many people suffer from disease that could be cured just because some primitive book says its a sin even though the supposed author of that book was an admitted baby murderer?

Can you prove he ignores all prayers? You leave out the millions of children that pray for food everyday and do get it.

And you never know why those 25,000 children died. Perhaps they were supposed to die (silly really because we are all supposed to die one day) But perhaps they die because they were going to grow up to become rapists, murderers, or other bad people because they grew up in poverty and wanted more from life at any cost. Instead of growing up and becoming guilty of sin, they get a free pass to heaven.

Vhehn, you have a choice to help those kids. Do you? Do you donate any money to charity besided the occasional dollar to the bum down the street? When was the last time you donated a couple hundred bucks to help a child? Since you dont believe in God and you think we are all on our own, you should be giving more than any Christian would to help ease suffering. Since you are atheist, you should hate abortion more than any religious fanatic since abortion is to deny the right to live to an innocent human being, cutting their life short before it even starts. If we are all destined to just die and lay in the ground, then you should be fighting hard as hell to let those innocent unborn have a chance to experience life. But do you?

if you donate to a secular charity probably 90% goes to actual aid. if you donate to a church 90% goes for expenses anr 10% goes for aid. now that is sick.

Christians are not against stem cell research...we are against embryonic stem cell research which kill the human embryo.

You think God is not real, but your belief in embryonic stem cells curing people that suffer from disease is not a reality. You believe the lie that the science can cure people with those embryos when it cant and never has. Its just one of the many lies scientists will tell you. Just like evolution...

<sigh> very well. Please cite me some sources of atheists doing good works. Feeding children (even if only 10% of 100% of the money goes to the kids), building school houses for free, donating their time to help teach a child to read. I would be very interested to see what you can come up with.

My points being that even with the bad stuff that happens in this world, the people are so much better off with religion than without it.
