In other words, this entire thread was to have been yet another attempt to disembowel Brandon. I'm glad to see that those who have better things to do with their time made it into something considerably more worthwhile. [/QUOTE
Those are your words, DB? What if there was no interstate commerce commission? What if there was no department of justice? How would people in the market be protected from 'predatory practices'?
Clear and simple, if Brandon hasn't been charged with any wrongdoing, then he is free to compete. That there is someone in the marketplace who is saying Brandon is preying on the desperate is no different from someone watching over their neighbor's house while the neighbor is on vaca. Again, Brandon has not been charged with wrongdoing. But someone thinks his activities are suspicious. Brandon has not been hindered in advertising his service nor has he been seriously questioned about his practices by anyone other than Optional.
It is interesting to me when questioned about business practices that those who have nothing to fear have nothing to hide. As I have said in another thread, "projecting the appearance of doing good and doing good are two different things." If Brandon's performance and results match his claims then more power to him. But I think Optional does have the right to ask these hard questions.
