Hello, I know I'm obviously too late on this, but I wanted to give you a few details for future(s) reference.
The market usually is only volatile from 8am Central until 2pm Central, and on average it stays between a 10 point range during that time. After that, the market is generally ranging up and down in very small amounts and is much, much less volatile.
