A: It doesnt matter you should only ever be shorting both, leveraged ETFS get destroyed over time. Look at a 5 year chat of NUGT, or UVXY, that should tell you all you need to know about which side you want to be on.

Is that really true? Everyone knows that these leveraged etfs go to zero over time, so don't you think that finding shares to short would either be very hard to find or very expensive? Just blindly shorting these etfs is no edge.

why are you screaming or is your keyboard broken?
 
in periods of low volatility leveraged etfs can be profitable as long term investments in spite of the normal caveats which generally apply. one counter example is .....
