Is 50,000$ Enough to set up a trading account to earn a full time living?

I am a full time trader....currently trading 40 hours of time each week for a nice paycheck, benefits and stock options from my employer. Also trading the markets / compounding my account. For now, based on the numbers, this is the obvious mix to have.
So based on your experience answer the OP's question. Is 50K enough?

So you want OP to withdraw $5,000 a month after he deposit his $50,000?

He has to build up his capital and let compounding work to his favor.
So you are assuming he has more capital than he is putting in the trading account? He/She never mentioned that in the OP. It's all speculation at this point. All I am saying is if 50k is all the money the OP has it will be tough to live on nothing for a year.

So do you think he has the chicken or the golden egg?

I do not think he says that he wants to live on his $50,000 from day one.

You'll have to ask the OP. I don't know his/her situation and neither do you. Good day sir.

No need for that. OP just asked a general question.

He is asking if he can start with $50,000 and make a career of full time trader from there.

Yes he can. But he will have to have an excellent start and live with a minimalist style.

Depends on what you are trading. Options...yes that is plenty. Stocks...only if you trade pennies

He wants no leverage. Why is everyone not able to read his parameters? A no-leverage way to make it.

Since he speaks about no leverage, he can trade stocks, bonds and cryptos. Can he make it with no leverage.
