IRS Sons of dogs!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!!

I got it once as well, cant remember the amount now but I am guessing they catch a little anomaly and try to put the FEAR of the state into you.

The State has to assert its power from time to time, show you who's BOSS.

Quote from JoePaterno:

why the theatrics? You prepare your return; that doesn't mean they have to accept it even though most of the time, they do. If audited, you go, discuss the issues so both sides reach understanding of what the tax obligation, and go home. Contrary to popular opinion, the govt AND the filers make errors or do things that are confusing. It is also possible that something popped up from the past. This is not a criminal prosecution. Be mature and go deal with your situation. No reason to stress andd vent.

IRS can seize everything pre-emptively! Criminal or otherwise. They are dogs. Wait, I don't don't want to insult dogs, the are snakes! scam of scams!

Quote from clacy:

Tax accounting and HR documentation (for litigation avoidance) are two massive drains on business productivity in the US.

I hate trial lawyers even more than the IRS, but it's very close.

The productivity has to be made up somewhere with lower wages and more hectic work hours for business to remain competitive.

Law and IRS is suffocating America.

Quote from pspr:

Because the government doesn't want the general taxpayer to know that half of all income earners pay NO INCOME TAX. In fact, they get money from the government. They like to keep the code complicated so you can't easily see the special interest breaks they give out.

Charlie Rangle who was in charge of writing income tax law got caught making his own tax breaks.

"I DID NOTHING ILLEGAL." Charlie

Sad huh! I believe you have that number correct (50% not paying fed taxes), AND getting social program money at the same time.

I work hard, and pay a lot of tax $$$$ to the feds to squander on whatever new outlandish social programs they can come up with, while at the same time, they want to beat me up.

Maybe I should just quit working, and lay around on the front porch drinking 40oz beers all day, and getting checks in the mailbox I did NOTHING to earn?
