Public posted wager? Are you serious? Like I just said, they don't get paid what a legal worker would make. But once they are legal, they can complain about wages and work conditions. Making them legal workers will mean their wages will increase and they will be able to displace Citizens from other jobs.

You really don't see this? Take off your liberal rose colored glasses.
 
I still want to know why the hell the dems don't support their unions.

Do you know what would happen to construction wages if the US enforced their immigration laws.

It would be a profession a career again.

I would imagine eventually the big conglomerate farmers would have to sell back farms to some family farmers.

It so ridiculous that the left does not support their unions.

I was just about to post something similar. Covertibility is not following the "talking points". To be fair, however, it's a topic that splinters the Democratic party...On one side you have a bunch of union funded politico's who have to vote in favor of any measure that will keep the fat hog's well fed with their generous pensions, favorable no bid contracts and other "make work" programs in the heavy pro-union states. OTOH, the party sees a gold mine in all of these potential future votes to keep their party firmly entrenched.

I've watched this back and forth with interest as it couldn't be more clear that there is no possible way to satisfy one group without completely alienating the other group.
