IRS Has Lost More E-mails . . .

New Records: IRS Targeted Progressive Groups More Extensively Than Tea Party

"A series of IRS documents, provided to ThinkProgress under the Freedom of Information Act, appears to contradict the claims by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and his House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that only Tea Party organizations applying for tax-exempt status “received systematic scrutiny because of their political beliefs.” The 22 “Be On the Look Out” keywords lists, distributed to staff reviewing applications between August 12, 2010 and April 19, 2013, included more explicit references to progressive groups, ACORN successors, and medical marijuana organizations than to Tea Party entities.

"The IRS provided the heavily-redacted lists to ThinkProgress, after nearly a year-long search. From the earliest lists through 2012, the “historical” section of the lists encouraged reviewers to watch out for “progressive” groups with names like “blue,” as their requests for 501(c)(3) charitable status might be inappropriate. Their inclusion in this section suggests that the concern predates the initial 2010 list."

I doubt that any of this or anything else matters. Voters are going to vote for who they are... without regard to candidates. Blacks and Hispanics will vote Democrat (Repubs are thinking they can garner the Hispanic vote with Amnesty legislation... likely wrong), those who protest "income inequality", gays, single moms, etc... will also vote Democrat, regardless of the transgressions of candidate... that should be enough to carry the vote in any election. Nobody of the parasite class cares any longer about "the American dream" or "opportunity without the government up your ass"... all they care about is their monthly subsidy check.

That is, THE PARASITE CLASS WILL VOTE FOR MORE PARASITISM... REGARDLESS!

Hope I'm wrong, but as the parasite class has only recently achieved >50+% of the vote, we'll likely know conclusively over the next general election or two.

:(

WOW!

So you mean the IRS, the agency that is under investigation and deleted all the emails of the person who claimed her right to refuse to testify and then said the hard drive was destroyed and the email backup company was fired despite the law saying the IRS has to maintain backup of these emails is providing data to "ThinkProgress" that shows they investigated more left wing agencies than right wing ones, so that we'll get off their back?

Holy Jesus on a Motorcycle, Batman! It's gotta be true!

The only thing surprising is that you, or ThinkProgress, expects anyone to believe anything at all that comes from the IRS as anything other than a complete pile of bullshit.

To be fair, I don't believe anything coming out of the rep scandal machine, either.

So you believe the IRS just happened to lose the emails of Lois Lerner, and she just coincidentally doesn't want to testify? And that the hard drive was recycled and that the backup company was let go right around the same time?

I believe, ceteris paribus, until you can prove differently, that the emails lost would, if they are a valid sample size, contain evidence of still more IRS examination of progressive groups.

So you believe there is no mal intent here? I just want to hear you say it.

I just know in my heart, I'M CERTAIN OF THIS, though I lack all evidence and can only go by what the media, including bloggers, feed me, is that Obama is... [insertsomethinghere]!

So you can't even answer that question without a dodge. At least you're consistent.
