Getting ready to finish 2002 taxes (took the extention).

I have Tessers Book (Taders Tax Guide) and the example he gives of a filled in 3115 (Change of accounting- for mark to market) has some annoying errors and is a bit sketchy in some key areas.

I don't feel like paying someone $250 dollars or more to fill in a form that takes about 15 seconds when you have done it before. Yeah, I know, cheapskate.

Whould someone like to share a properly completed 3115 ?
 
you miss the cut off date if you did not declare mark-to-market last year or create a new entity to file tax by 15th of Feb 2003.
 
Nope. I filed the election with my 2001 return as required.

Now its time to actually file the 3115. Its a two step process.
