In many countries it's the VAT. It solves many problems of and of the taxpayers with the IRS. It's so simple and logical and above all fair.

But there are lots of people and organizations profiting from the present tax systems and it would take decades to get rid of this antique method to finance the country.

Fair tax not fair? Think it through!

What country has only the vat? Or are you asking for another tax on top of what we already pay?

Actually if we're talking about loonie-tunes, you'd have to be one to think any kind of tax that actually makes sense will replace the current code (not you personally).

btw, Allow me to be the first to say that we need to make our skies safer, now! Perhaps a ban on all propeller aircraft...that would keep the riff raff out.
