You can say that again, the russians knew perfectly well what they could, or couldnt do-in ww2.

The germans highly engineered guns froze on the eastern front, while the russians kept on shooting, with sloppy technology and workmanship.

But it worked, when needed, the crucial aspect.

At the end of the day, no matter what happens anywhere, there will be some bullshit explanation by revisionist historians, possibly even some amazing footage, all the result of, likely, one nutcase or group that somehow won the trust of a nation.

Do you really think that you would be able "utterly destroy" Iran? Russia, China, France and others would make sure you are not allowed to do so. Iran is not that stupid that they would do any first strike - and by the looks of it, it's the US and Israel that are looking for a fight.

That means that you are all alone. NATO is for defending when one member state is attacked, but here it is you guys doing the attacking. That means no UN and no NATO.

The US has the most moronic imbecil of any statesman in modern history - for sure. Bellowing out "Berrrle scoooni ... mi amigo!" and being able to say the most emberrasing awkward things in any situation.

There is something deeply whacked about US politics and democratic process. There is something wrong with the conservative forces not being willing to adjust to changes in world dynamics and economy. There is something wrong with the electorate in the US for not reacting ... and maybe only when it's too late in some distant future it will dawn on them.

The Fed/FDIC has 90 US banks on the watch list now, and 5 US banks have turned belly-up so far this year ... you guys are in so much shit, you seriously need to give time for some thought before you speak or try to act - just see what happens when that swaggering texas moron of a president opens his pie-hole.

A war with Iran is "unavoidable".

When the US pulls out of Iraq, the first thing that's going to happen is a very sweetening relation between the two Shia muslim neighbours. Israel will be in super-shit, and the oil markets will be in for super-shit.

Make no mistake about it, the heavy-handed tactics and abuses done by the US in Iraq will not go unnoticed and will not be forgotten by the Iraqi people. The stupidness of both the Bush presidents and their greedy nature have sent a terrible blow to the future of the US economy. Instead of a "friendly" government with Saddam Hussein and a Sunni minority in power aligned with the Saudis, you instead have a powder keg of Shias in Iraq that absolutely hate the US. They grow up youngsters fully traumatized by the US and their actions in Iraq ... and the US are not the ones educating these youngsters for the future.

There is no win-win situation there, and for sure it's the start of a really big conflict in the brewing. I just hope it goes down more economically, before the US will try to strike - and maybe that during some years the capital transfer will make the Iranian military strong enough to deter any US attacks, and that Iran, Iraq and possibly with others like Pakistan or Afghanistan will form their own defense pact.

That will mean a terribly downfall for the US political influence in the world, as well as a strong blow for it's economic influence in the world.

Change is coming, and that is pretty bleeding obvious. The change was instigated by the US and their "visionary presidents" ... so you can blame yourselves and your craving for cheap consumption on behalf of (the bodies of) others in the end.

If any of you could look into "systems theory", "complex adaptive systems" and seeing the world dynamics as well as trying to understand the imbalances straightening themselves out - you would prepare to take some moderate pain over time to adjust to change - instead of trying to strong-arm yourselves until everything breaks down ...

The US electors have very little long-term perspective or insight on their role in the world - so a little education would not be out of place. A prime example are you lot, totally blinded by military hoopaloop'ing that you have seen on the propaganda-ridden Discovery channel, in Hollywood films, etc. All the time while you are forgetting about politics and world dynamics.

Don't worry, President Obama will fix everything. No one is going to hate us anymore. The Iranians and Al Qaeda are reasonable and will leave us alone after President Obama pulls American troops out of Iraq. Oil will go back to $30/barrel. Everything will be fine. 9/11 didn't happen or was perpetuated by Bush anyway. Let's party in Berkeley!!

If the US loses a city to a nuclear terrorist attack I expect the response to be to wipe out countries that have aided terrorist in the past. That’s it. No long investigations etc…. By continuing to develop these, this is the risk that Iran faces. Anyone who thinks that the US won’t do it, does not really understand.
