You do understand why they want nukes don't you?
Seems to gain a bit of respect from the global community when you have em. Not to mention, in their eyes, they are surrounded by dozens of Imperialist American military bases. Sounds like a country acting defensively to me.
War in preemption is pure folly, neocolonialism and against the Constitution.

Thanks for the facts. It's amazing he got number 1 wrong. Facts and inclusive perspectives confuse some people and it's much easier for them to simplify their thinking along black and white lines and the simplest thing for their small minds to do is to call "them" evil and then call for war.

1. Iran got what they had coming to them, and they will again if they don't change course. After the Shah, Saddam Hussein tried to establish friendly relations with Iran but Ayatollah Khomeini ignored it and continually called for a Shia revolution in Iraq. Khomeini called Hussein's Ba'athist regime a "puppet of Satan" and called for Iraqis to overthrow it, which started riots in Shia areas of Iraq that the Iranian government supported and which led to multiple assassinations of Ba'ath official by Shia militants. Iraq increasingly saw Iran's new regime as an existential threat and it went down hill from there.
2&3. The Arab League backs the Syrian opposition so again Iran is on the wrong side.
4. Even if it was that simple (it's not), Iran's still killing Americans.

I truly do not understand why you would be happy about any of this. It is will take years for Iran to get a bomb, and more years for them to find a way to get it anywhere. Hell, N. Korea has a bomb of the Hiroshima type I think. How are they going to send it anywhere?

You mentioned our Ohio class subs in another post, no other nation can match that kind of fire except one. This could get stupid really fast, this could be our generations Cuban missile crisis. I hope our leaders and their leaders want their kids to grow up. This could be another Crimson Tide, except with the wrong ending.

This is getting blown up all out of any kind of rational proportion.
