I don't think that's his main problem.
He didn't make that deal with Iran because he's stupid and naive. He made it because he wants to PROMOTE IRAN AND ISLAM. He didn't really make a "deal"... he handed it to them on purpose.
As US president, he has been a wolf in sheep's clothing all along.

"Our technical investigations showed the two U.S. Navy boats entered Iranian territorial waters inadvertently," the IRGC said in a statement carried by state television. "They were released in international waters after they apologized," it added.
Confirming the sailors' safe release, the Pentagon said there were no indications they were harmed while in Iranian custody.

None of the experts, political or technical, believe this, and there were a half dozen other signatories to the deal, allies and competitors.
"Experts"? LOL. If history has taught us anything, there are no experts when it comes to ME policy making, be they republican, democrat or otherwise.
Then the child's evaluation of the deal is no good, either.
Exactly Iran is using the money to push unrest across the Middle East - Yemen, Syria, Iraq etc.
This "deal" will eventually lead to full scale conflict across the region when the proxy wars become direct wars. In the last week we have seen the drop in diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran (and other countries and Iran).
The U.S. never should have signed up for this "deal" - it does little to stop Iran's secret nuclear program, while allowing spigots of cash to open for the Iranian militants.
About 10 years from now it will be recognized as one of the worst deals in history.
Not entirely. The Olive Branch has and will continue to blow up in our faces. Iran will receive billions of dollars, and if history has shown anything it is that Iran isn't exactly the most trustworthy nation when it comes to arms deals. They will game the system. All Obama did with this was move the goal line back which will result in Iran taking a little longer to get their nukes. It's inevitable.
Now on another note, IMO, Iran or any other country has every right to develop nuclear weapons, or any other type of weapon they see fit. If we can, so can everyone else. We have the right to vaporize them with a first strike should they pose an imminent threat.
So he (and you) are more knowledgeable of history than the experts? And keep in mind the expert evaluations came from political analysts and technical experts, worldwide. The deal was signed by a half-dozen countries, friends and competitors.
