This is where the contention is. All of the Muslim neighbouring states need assurance first from Israel that it recognizes Palestine and stop the occupation of Palestine. And they want Israel to give its assurance first before giving their assurance. And for the neighbouring states, for Israel to give its assurance is basically for Israel to give up all of is military power and become countries like Switzerland or Canada, leaving it vulnerable and at complete mercy at its neighbouring states and receiving no foreign power's military aid in any situation, pretty much surrendering its land to the neighbouring Muslim countries and losing their home again. That's unacceptable to Israel and that's unacceptable to any country in the world if it's ever in the position of Israel. So to maintain peace, it's really the neighbouring Muslim countries who need to recognize Israel first as an independent country first and leave it f*** alone.
And from a geographical and territory integrity point of view, Gaza Strip should really be given to Israel in exchange for another equivalent territory land from Israel given to Palestine for compensation. This is something that was proposed by Bill Clinton during his time in office in order to resolve this conflict. It's not that bad of an idea. If you look at the map, with Israel being surrounded by Palestine on both sides with no way out, this is basically putting Israel under siege and guarantees that it can be attacked from all sides. If you look at any country in the world, there is not ONE country that's surrounded on BOTH sides of its sovereign land horizontally by the SAME country. So I can sympathize Israel for occupying Gaza strip even though it belongs to Palestine even though I don't agree with it.
Like I said before, the only way to resolve this conflict is for everybody to leave Israel and Palestine the fuck alone!! This is an issue between Israel and Palestine and should be resolved by Israel and Palestine alone with no involvement from all those neighbouring Middle-Eastern countries, European countries, Russia, China, or USA. This would be a good start.

No the only land that Palestine can have is any portion of Israel that's adjacent to Palestine so Palestine gets to expand its territories into part of Israel and that's it. And besides, why does Palestine needs access to the sea? It already has access to a sea, the Dead Sea right on its border with Jordan! Isn't that enough? Access to a sea is not a guarantee to prosperity. Look at Sri Lanka! And yet many countries are completely inland, surrounded by multiple countries on all sizes and have zero access to any waterways and they are quite affluent. Switzerland, Austria come to mind and they are not even resource-rich. How well a country does economically depends largely on how efficiently and effectively they use the resources they have, aka making lemonade out of lemons. No country is perfect.
