Worldwide today -- oil and gold slightly eased. World stock markets were generally slightly up. Markets basically shook off and ignored the news of President Raisi's death.

The Tehran stock exchange was closed and will likely be closed for a few days.

The Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) said Monday that stock market trading will be suspended for the next days following news that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi had died, IRNA reported quoting officials of the TSE.

The stock exchange trading pause of the market where more than 600 companies with a capitalization of about $1.45 trillion comes after a helicopter transporting Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and other officials crashed in the north-west of the country. On Sunday, the second day of the week in the Iranian calendar, it was known that TEDPIX, the main index of TSE, lost 62,237 points or 2% to 2,106,439.

Earlier, the Iranian Red Crescent said it finished search operations for bodies that were found at the accident site.
