IQFeed API

Hi,
Does anyone have access to the IQFeed API by any chance? I have one small question regarding one application that I am working on to download historical data but would like to avoid having to pay $360/year...

Free intraday data from yahoo and google. Can be downloaded with http://amibroker.com/products.html amiquote. Otherwise get esignal classic delayed for $55 a month get the intraday data from qcollector from www.mechtrading.com and then cancel.

I was just wondering if it was possible to download historical ticks (trades and quotes) from IQFeed using their API but it seems that only trades are available and not quotes.
I already have a subscription to IQFeed.

There is an iqfeed version of qcollector at http://www.mechtrading.com/qcollector/dtn/index.htm

Edit: It says you can download ticks. What do you mean by quotes?
