How do you standardize a test like that across a dozen or more cultures and socioeconomic levels?
I don't think you can... ergo, its by no means a definitive set of results. It's not even close. More bs.

The mongolians do pretty good on these tests, this proves they are not biased towards white people or education levels.

IQ tests can pretty much predict how hard of a job you can handle, what your limit is going to be: Janitor vs Cashier vs Engineer etc

It is sad but if you have a low IQ (below 85) there are a huge number of jobs you just can never do.

This didnt matter so much in the old days, you could just be a farm hand or very basic factory worker, but in todays knowledge and skills based economies its a huge problem.

And you cant raise IQ by much, it is pretty much defined at birth, if you could find a solution to that problem, you would win the Noble prize.

This is a huge problem for the Black community, but no one will talk about it because any academic who even mentions it will get Cancelled.

But it seems to be supported by anecdotal evidence like attendance at university.
As a brown person who grew up in relative poverty, i managed to get into a good university.
There were some Yellows, and Browns and majority Whites, but hardly any Blacks?

There was no discrimination, there was no real interview process back then (1990s) for my college, you just needed good scores in your final year high school exams.Not even outstanding scores.

Self-detection of error is an important factor in intelligence, I get there but a little slow when tired.

My experience is that humans all over tuned by natural selection, interbreed and solving the problems of survival are really not that far apart as organic computers.

On an individual basis where you end up is a fair bit basic brain power but upbringing is the decider. It was meeting three guys in my years in Africa who had been adopted and raised in the UK, one France I became convinced. One guy particularly named George who was a junior Queen's Council talked about how he would return every few years to see grandparents etc. but really was so much more than the near subsistence villagers he would have been one of, it gave him great melancholy.

In any case the world of Gattica is upon up. My daughter will likely have the option within a decade to tailor a child.

Natural selection has run its course for humans. There will be those who cling on but choosing extraordinarily long and healthy lives for kids is too compelling.

Upbringing will help with things like confidence and communication skills, but not much with raw intelligence. Just look at the British royal family.

My grandparents were also subsistence villagers, we still own the land.
My father came over in the 1960s he didn't want to be a villager. Otherwise i would also have been one of those near subsistence villagers you mention instead i earn 200K a year a software engineer.

There will always be exceptions, i am way smarter than my siblings they are not nearly as smart as i am. But they have other personality traits that i lack and envy. But not much in the intelligence department.

Ya know I firmly believe everyone is gifted in some way shape or form. This probably sounds liberal af, but I've lived long enough and met enough people from all walks of life to know that for the most part its true. I would kill to be able to draw, but I can't even draw a friggin house better than a 5yo yet I know folks ya'll would consider utter losers that can whip out a picture of whatever with a sketch pad and a pencil that any of you would gladly pay money for if you were interested in whatever the subject is.

The music professors at Julliard and Berkley have extremely high IQ's, they know things that you and I have never even heard of, and yet I know people who barely have GED's that can create melodic musical progressions out of thin air that are pure genius in their arrangement both mathematically and note-wise that those professors couldn't come up with if their life depended on it. So how's that work, because if you gave one of these cats an IQ test... trust me, they'd fail the sh*t out of it. Score-wise that is.

I can cite examples on the other side too. Ivy League C-suiters that are completely dysfunctional in social settings outside their bubble, or have zero aptitude to problem solve something as simple as figuring out an alternate way to measure out 8 ounces of water when no measuring cup is available but plenty of other things that are graduated in ounces are right in front of them. "Walking around sense" as they call it in these parts; they don't have it.

So I dunno if what you say is true or not, but I do know one thing... the family structure is an issue because it takes great parents to spot that inner-genius early on and bring it to fruition. Take two great parents and let them adopt an infant from the hood that hasn't come out of the gate with some handicap related to prenatal drug or alcohol abuse, and my money's on the kid will turn out just fine.

Hard work comes second, it might not seem that way. Hard work should trump intelligence but like i said alot of hard workers will just end up working hard in minimum wage job. There will be stories of those people who make it with no education. My uncle was drowing in money and he could barely read. But that is not the norm.

The Yellows seem to be on top.

However it is a bit worrying that the Blacks are so low , and some Black countries are shockingly low

You do have to account for the fact that the US is the only country in the planet who is not a communist country yet, indoctrinated on the virtues of Socialism and Communism? There is used to be a time when, being a communist barred you entry into the US if you were a legal immigrant. Now, if teachers only focused on reading, writing and arithmetic as before, the US would be a nation of smarter, more nationalistic Americans who loved the country. Being fed propaganda that probably, drove the intelligence, a few notches down atleast. Asians too emphasize education. That is ingrained in their culture.

I'm not sure your point in creating this thread. Educated white people have known for decades they are not the highest average IQ just they have the highest technology achievement for a couple of hundred years though that is being challenged by Asia fairly solidly as they are changing from copying to innovating. Its not like Japan has not been a strong innovator anyway.

A future will happen, until the AI general computing singularity produces what may be to us, God. All bets are off after that so seems silly to be that worried about gene lines in the very short time remaining as a naturally evolved species.
