Quote from DOuWizetrade?:

Ok here are two:

If I go from point A to point B at an average speed of 30 miles per hour, how fast must I go from point B back to point A so that my average speed for the entire trip is 60 miles per hour?

You would have to teleport.

interestingly enough,

if the speeds were 60 and 90, the answer would simply be 120.

did you figure out the other one? what am I?

hint: its not a cane for a blind man!

Quote from MAESTRO:

The one test that got me puzzled for a while is this sequence:

61, 52, 63, 94, 46 , ?, ? put two missing numbers in this sequence.

This test was optional after you have reached IQ >= 150.

Enjoy.

Someone please explain the answer to this one. It's pissing me off.

Quote from gambitjogger:

atavachron,

A, E, F, H, I, K, L

Right?
Correct!

Its the next 2 letters in alpha-order/ upper-case that are written using only straight lines.

Its an interesting question to ask people, as usually they will start looking for some sort of sequence numbering of the letters - missing the obvious, almost child-like solution.

Old one but still challenging...

You must rescue a princess who is being held in 1 of the 2 rooms at the end of the hall. You do not know which room she is in, and each door to the rooms has a guard infront of it. If you choose te wrong door you will die. One of the guards can only tell the truth, while the other can only lie, you unfortunately do not know who tells the truth. You may only ask one question to either of the guards. What question would you ask to definitively know what room she is in ?

A burglar broke into a house, intending to steal from it. After getting what he want, he called the police while still in the house. Why?
