it must be one of the few, the only other one i can think of is playboy, but they were publically traded before the dot com boom. still the companies financials are horrible
some ppl do not feel comfortable with those types of stocks in their portfolio, ethics, morals etc. similar to tobacco stocks... although sex sells, the stock sometimes doesnt... look at playboy and the like... playboy is doing a secondary very soon, why i dont know, who cares actually...
Probably to get help get out of debt. I would imagine with in a few years adult websites will be traded publically, all it takes is for a couple to get the ball rolling, then they'll all do it.
maybe thats the next boom... could be with all these dick stocks, and womens viagra and how much money the entire porn industry makes i think its like a 10 billion dollar number, in any event who knows...
