iPhone safety examined by EU authorities ?

A number of iPhones have reportedly blown up or caught fire, the EU is threatening a giant recall ... How bad is this for Apple ? AAPL is denying there is any issue with its product, and blames users for the problems ! This is not new I think , but it seems it's coming back to the forefront . Have you heard of this ?I can't believe the stock's strength especilaly if there is any possibility of this being true . I see this stock crater soon , the past months rise is similar to the post April 2000 rally in tech. There is no way it can maintain this upward momentum.

Sounds like the EU protecting Nokia to me.

generally a result of using cheap batteries which aren't regulated well. Nothing to do with the product interior; they should easily be able to replace the battery manufacturer (china?).
