I went long on a bounce off of yesterday's high. +10 on 1st contract and holding the 2nd with a stop at entry +10.

Ok...last post for the am--I promise 
I did get stopped out on the 2nd contract for +10. Market looks a little deceptive to me. ie Russell and Nasdaq are not really participating at this point. Adv/Dec volume is rising, but, A/D line is a little choppy.
With that said, it could be the calm before the storm ;-)

I was very confident with this trade, but, my stop got hit at the very low of the swing low (483). Normally, I would entertain the idea of moving my stop to break-even +1 and hold the position until price reached the next pivot. However, being we are near/at options/futures expiration date I decided to hedge against any volatility that can occur near expiration date.
So...we take our 10 pts, smile, and live to trade another day.
I was very confident with this trade, but, my stop got hit at the very low of the swing low (483). Normally, I would entertain the idea of moving my stop to break-even +1 and hold the position until price reached the next pivot. Still recovering from my PC disaster so I don't have all the other tools I use to create images of charts and such on my other PC.
Week 13 ended up break-even. I was up 10 pts going into friday and got stopped out on a trade for -10. So the net result was 0 pts gained for the week.
No trades on Monday or Tuesday with FOMC circus in town.
For you swing traders out there, I have a rather large Straddle in play right now. I'm hoping the market will make a rather large move in either direction after the circus leaves town ;-)

Sorry for the delays. I had some business out-of-town to take care of so I've pretty much have been just managing swing and position trade posiltions this past week.
I'm back with a new computer that is setup to resume intraday trading.

I've been following your thread, and there are just a couple of things i find hard to understand.
Howcome your commisions come out to exactly 8$ every week? On some weeks you made more trades and yet your total was 8$ for each week. How much commision do you pay on each leg if i may ask?
And how do your stops always get filled at exactly -10? there is never any slippage with YM futures?
I'm sorry if the questions are a little stupid - i am new to futures. The commisions i saw were at about 2$ per leg per contract at IB.

Good start to the week. I spent the weekend trying to figure out the "delayed write error..." and gave up and just rebuilt my trading desktop machine from scratch reinstalling all the hardware and operating system. I have the bare minimum of software installed to do what I do and so far the error hasn't surfaced.
I stayed with the trend today in both intraday and swing accounts. I did start scaling out of my straddle position during the afternoon.

Oh crap--good catch yoavavr! The commissions are indeed incorrect. I will update the spreadsheet to reflect accurate commission fees.
My sincerest apologies to all for the error.
And yes, there is some slippage on the entry fills when I enter on market. However, I do a lot of entry's using limit orders and the 1st exit is always a limit order. On the exits, my best guess as to why I don't see slippage is because I'm only trading 1-2 contracts.
