Inverted head and shoulders on the SPX?

How do you manage your stops when you are trading and managing your positions overnight? Do you have hard stops or trade your way out of the position if there is a spike?

I will have remaining 720.50 entries covered with fills at 717.00/715.50. Lower targets will be for entries from 722.00 (if filled at 712.00 I will then have last 50% of 722.00 entries still held for any additional downside move).Awesome bounce! OK....had targets last night filled at 715.00 and then took fills for 712.00 targets at 713.00 after a touch at 712.00 and no fill. Remaining positions at 722.00 I took out at 721.00 on the very strong rally back to highs.Quote from AMT4SWA:

Finally got some sleep and now I have started to resell the newer highs at 726.50 with this second rotaion up and lower high.......first target will be set at 722.50 and then next target at 719.50.......will set lower targets later after cash session opens. It looks as the strong rally high that ran us up to 730 area was caused as the delta zone of 721's to 724's had most unwind the resting sell inventory which caused the price spike.......zone for selling at present is 726.00 to the new high as we get ready to move to the market open.
