Thanks V,

Attached is the image using SC historical backfill data. This looks way off. Do you think this is due to the data provider?

Thanks

JW

That did not look right.

Are you shure you have got the settings correct?

Settings for cumulative study should be:

study number: the number of the "bid vol. vs. ask vol."
study subgraph number to sum: 5

Veggen... are you getting a correct... accurate CumDelta in Sierra Charts that matches what you see on AMT postings...

Bar CumDelta versus price.. ?

I did not realize i could go to Sierra Charts instead of Investor R/T...

thanks..

study subgraph number to sum: 5 --> this seem to have solved the problem.

Thanks V

PS. I don't see you on skype much anymore

It is not your charting software that affects the outcome of the CD-readings, but your data feed.

I use OEC as datafeed, and my readings are not exactly the same as AMT's. They look very similar, but there are differences. I only trust my own readings enough to do intraday div. plays.

My feed is fine... I just did not know i could go to Sierra Charts instead of Investor R/T...

more cost effective... and lighter footprint on the resources...

Glad you fixed it!

I have recently gotten my original computer back from repairs after it crashed, and I do not have skype on this.
I will download tomorrow morning, and log on again!!

Ohh I misunderstood your question, sorry!

Well, Sierra does not support all data feed's, but you can absolutely display cumulative delta readings.

Only negative thing, is that for some reason it is only available as a "line study", and not candlesticks or high/low bars. Because of this, you can only see the closing value. This especially affects the power of the cumulative study when you are using very slow charts. I have adressed this issue with sierra staff, and hopefully they will do something about it ASAP! :)

I heard back from them just now, and they will take care of this issue! So now I have no moe cons with Sierra Charting and cumulative delta, only my data feed ;)
