Intuition Amplifiers 2

Quote from cornix:

Here's an example: you drive a car and someone cuts you off. You quickly evade and slow the car down simultaneously.

Did you act based on the past (action, which already took place) or did you read another driver's mind prior to the action?

How do you think what is more realistic and thus more reliable: quickly react depending on what's happening or try to read others minds? :)

Feel free to use rhetorical tricks and irrelevant examples--- i am simply warning that objective chart based TA is the wrong path and will lead to losses ( if it hasn't already, i have no way of knowing, nor do i care) . Nothing I can say to change the mind of the true believer, however. carry on, surf

Well, I trade relatively consistently. Quite a few people are witness to that.

I use charts/volume/DOM.

So only two outcomes are possible:

1) Those tools contain an edge.

2) Some of the subliminal abilities create this edge and not the tools.

Probably the only way to check is try to pass the knowledge somehow and see what happens... maybe I should try.

Surf, you are forcing me to become a guru now! :D

... With that in mind I will be very interested in looking at the tools you are using as there seems to be some overlap in our thinking and I would enjoy picking your brain further.

What an excellent piece! I thoroughly enjoyed it. In terms of my IA based tools, I would be happy to send you some of them to play with.

Must confirm that I never could explain Xspurts abilities (which I had chance to witness for years) by anything but amazing skill definitely up to the level of intuition used in full. He's extremely detailed in his trading.

Surf is bi-polar?:D

When it comes to trading somehow he seems to neglect the fact our past is the basis for literally all our actions in the future. :)

Seems he`s just pissed off about macd stochastics candles and sh.t.He`s summarized iit all in the word "Chart".But chart and what`s on that chart is the two diff things.

Past results do not guarantee future performance, btw.

Yes, there are quite many delusions related to reading charts indeed. Some people preach indicators or certain patterns like a Holy Grail forgetting it's the trader who is the grail him/herself and that's why this thread is so interesting for me.

Agree on past results. Trading is like sports or some military professions: you're only as good as your last shot. Every day all from scratch.
