Quote from MAESTRO:
I understand now. "Observation" does not mean that there is no input. "Observation" means the use of our consciousness and logic in order to "comprehend" the reality. Observation occurs when we become aware of our perceptions. Conscious awareness is the result of our observations. Intuition, on another hand, is the result of our sub-conscious processes. That was the intent in the statement.
I hope it clarifies it a bit more.
Quote from MAESTRO:
"New Research Suggests Humans Can Sense Future Events Without Any Known Clues"
"Wouldn't it be nice to predict future events, even if they are just ten seconds ahead? According to researchers at Northwestern University, we can do just that...."
This is another research I am involved in using my Intuition Amplifiers.

Thank you for the first clarification: intuition is the result of our sub-conscious processes. But the second quote, along with reference to quantum activist Goswami, is where I need clarification: in the theory of this thread, where does intuition come from? So far, I've come up with 3 ideas:
1) info clues come into the brain through conventional means, like sight, sound, etc, and the subconscious parts of the brain put together the puzzle pieces and push the solution to the surface
2) the intuition thought is put into the mind's awareness from something outside the conventional universe (long list, ex: as yet unknown particles that travel backwards in time; messages from beings in another dimension; many others)
3) something totally different, I hope I can understand your explanation
Of course, 'Without Any Known Clues' could be something ordinary as source 1, we just don't know it. Ex would be: intuition to trust someone's statement -- could come from unconsciously detecting microfacial movements around the speaker's eyes that show sincerity. Or the converse, to distrust someone's statement -- unconsciously the sense of smell detects a rise in sweat, due to the stress of lying. Predicting the score of the game -- unconscious parts of the brain have probability estimates and run many simulations to get an average score, just like a computer would do.
This would be different from the non-ordinary as source 2, like sensing energy or particles coming from the future, or connecting to 'higher realms of consciousness that transcend human time'.
It's also possible, the source is unknown, and not important, this thread is just interested in the ability and developing it for now, the explanation will come later with more advances in science. I recall 'The Mind Race' (Targ and others), I think this was their approach.
Sorry to push the question for several responses, but it would really help to understand your argument in this thread, to clarify which of these -- or something else, or if it's unknown -- is the proposed source of intuition. What is one developing the mind or intuition to connect to?
thanks
