Intuition Amplifiers 2

Quote from ammo:

... maestro have you figured out how to increase these chemicals in the brain without drugs?

Yes I have! It is one of the Intuition Amplifiers (IA) main parts. I use shapes, colors, sounds and certain dynamic images to stimulate the production of peptides that in turn can increase the synopses conductivity. As a result of training your brain on the images produced by the gauges (parts of IA) I believe that effects of neuroplasticity start to take place which in turn increase the efficiency of one's subliminal (intuitive) thinking.

Quote from cornix:

Understood, thanks. Asked, because Denise Shull mentioned improvement of profitability among traders who ceased red from their charts, because red is usually associated with something stressful and dangerous (likely on a natural level for all humans due to the color of blood) and may influence decisions to be more impulsive.

Yeah, I am not a big supporter of that part of her research. I think the effects of color are slightly exaggerated. I am always cautious in terms of my assumptions. Double blind experiments help a lot in those cases and my tests did not yield conclusive results in that area.

I see. Thanks a lot for explanations. How large groups of traders do you usually use in experiments?

It depends on the access. All traders have tripple A personality and they all have fully blown ADD. So, it hasn't been easy. My groups have usually been between 20 to 50 people at best.

Quote from Albert Cibiades:

I am stuck on Planet Bitchslappia with no ride home, so I can but quote the first paragraph of your opening post...

Quote from MAESTRO:

I think I understand a bit of what you are saying....

He's being facetious. Why bother getting pulled in? Maybe it's better to just continue with your ideas.

Yes, that's why I asked. Must be not easy at very least to form a group of traders willing to participate.

I understand, but I am trying to engage people in sharing. I do not mind being perceived as a naive and gullible researcher. After all, every bit of knowledge worth suffering for! :)

P.S. Nice to see you BTW. Long time no talk :)

Yes, it has always been a bitch!

Quote from MAESTRO:

I think I understand a bit of what you are saying. So, you have your own taxonomy of the market states that you interpret as a state diagram where state transitions happen under some "if-then" conditions? Would you mind to shed some light then on the list of states first and then may be on some fragments of your taxonomy?

I guess I am being too subtle. You did not have to progress beyond your first paragraph. You merely had to understand it.

For years here I have been raving and ranting that conventional charts bear as much resemblance to market reality as a painted tarted smelly fat old whore does to ideal femininity.

Put another way: "Do you WANT the TAPE? You can't HANDLE the TAPE!"

Bitch Market is an unknowable black box. Many people think they know what is inside her, but they deceive themselves. All you can know about her is what she projectile vomits at the tick rate. Conventional charts slow down that bilious flow and color it and flavor it and tattoo it so it is drinkable. Like Koolaid.

MAESTRO have you ever read Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking and if so does that fit in with your Intuition Amplifiers? It's something I try to get traders to become aware of.
