I am 1000% convinced the most important traits of successful trading are concentration, patience, and discipline; waiting for the right trade, and not trading just for the sake of trading. (guilty as charged!)

In this regard, I can certainly see how a winning professional card counter could excel at trading. They already have those three skills mastered. Some will sit at a table all night waiting for a proper setup.

Hell that's 80% of the battle imo. Everything else can be learned from books for the most part.

No I had I a ruff upbringing. I need healthily outlets for my shadows. I have done deep physiological work with myself and have transformed negative emotions into stuff that is productive .
