Evan,

How many customers do you have currently? A ballpark answer is fine. Are there enough customers that someone could switch to your product and not be concerned that it hasn't gone through the abuse of hundreds or even thousands of other customers to arrive at some stable state?

Thank you.

I wouldn't answer that, the Guy is offering a free trial. Don't be such a damned piker.

Evan,

Does the free trial allow you to retrieve historical daily 1 minute charts of the indices? Thanks.

Hello William,

Yes we have all of the major Indices (except for the DOW) with the free 20-minuted-delayed streaming data version of the Level IV™ Trading Platform. These include NYSE, NASDAQ, BATS, CBOE and DTN Indicies feeds.

And yes, we include 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30, and 60 minute, plus Daily, Weekly and Monthly charting on them.

The DOW unfortunately does not allow free distribution of their indices even if delayed.

Our paid subscriptions offer the DOW Indices.

Our Level IV™ Trading Platform is indeed very different.

With just ONE click of your mouse, Full Market Recording™ begins recording ALL LI & LII data for EVERY Symbol in your User Symbol List. There is no complicated need to configure anything.

When switching to Full Market Replay™, everything plays back in sequence, nothing is lost, and there is no discernible difference in program functionality other than Direct Trading being disabled by default so Traders don't make the mistake of trading based upon aged data. Simulated trading is enabled though.

Also, with the Market Recordings Scheduler, Traders can set one time and recurring schedules to record data automatically. This helps for catching the markets during lunch, meetings, or travel.

Hi Bukkan,

Yes you are correct, NinjaTrader has a feature called "Market Replay" that allows users to download symbols that are in open windows, one or a few at a time, and replay them. Thus it's just a Symbol Replay, not a Full Market Replay.

NinjaTrader cannot record every Trade and Every Market Maker Bid and Ask, for Every Symbol for 1,000 symbols at once.

This is incorrect and inaccurate. NinjaTrader will record every market data event (trade, bid, ask, depth etc) for as many instruments as the user would like including 1000+ instruments. It will also replay all of them at once.

Using NinjaTrader’s Market Replay, when you play it back, you see the information for one or a few symbols, and none of the interrelationships among your entire Symbol List. With Full Market Replay you can freeze the market at any instant in time.
Again inaccurate, NinjaTrader will do this as well.

In contrast to NinjaTrader where you have to pre-select, one at a time
Misleading, you can with one click select a list of instruments and NinjaTrader immediately starts recording.

Hi Clearinghouse,

After 10 years of development, and thousands of hours in beta testing, we just launched Level IV™ in June and are confident of our platform.

We are not aware of any bugs, but as with any software product, including Microsoft for example, some will undoubtedly appear. Even an extremely large user base doesn't prevent that, but a responsive programming team is crucial for rapid remedy. Our policy is to fix bugs as soon as they are found.

It is our Mission to continually improve our products so that Traders can make more money, faster.

Please try our free delayed version and see for yourself.

Hello Ray,

I apologize if we misunderstood anything about NinjaTrader. We based our comments on information from your help file and a video on your market replay we watched on YouTube.

We are doing our best to respond accurately to issues brought up by others on this forum.

To help better explain how easy it is to make a a Full Market Recording™ on the Level IV™ Trading Platform, we are working on a new video which should be up here before the end of the week.

As promised, here is a video explaining more about how Full Market Recording works (we will have another new video later next week):

We recommend, after starting the video, switching the resolution of our videos to HD. Click on the "gear" icon in the lower right to see a menu of video resolution options.
