Traders over-rate the danger of trend reversal. Most price moves in a trend are not instantaneous reversals into the opposite trend.

Work hard enough, those last trades don't have to be losers, study ends of moves and develop patterns you can test. I use these patterns to hedge existing underlying cause we don't know if it is going to be a reversal or retracement. Can retracement and forming right shoulder of failing to go higher, if you scalp it are winners and runner is breakeven, or if day trading it is losses. So being able to identify failures early enough forewarns to not take signal at all or get out earlier.
 
not to be discouraging here, but with that balance, you need one tweet or news to get busted, or get almost doubled; for the double, you need to hold that long, few can; for the bust trade, your broker will make the decision for you. this reality is how the house (all money making traders) collect your money.
