Intraday timeframes

Can watch second charts and minute charts for timing intraday trades.

But for context should check minute vs hour, hour vs session, session vs day, session/day vs the week and/or month etc.

I agree with you for sure.

I trade 1 and 3 minute charts. And I have experiement with 4 and 8 range bars.

You are right about , there is alot that can go on in 3 minute.

How long have you traded range bars?

What I noticed about range bars vs time bars is my stop loss can be reduced.

I use volume based candlesticks

for ES, I use various volume charts like
500v, 2000v, 8000v charts.

for fast moving market, I use 500v (something like 1 min chart)
for entry
