the only thing you missed was not getting too fancy to begin with, how it affects your minds-eye if you have not been using indicators on a multi TF set-up and that it doesn't matter which indicator you use as they all work... just find what suits you.
My suggestion was to begin with CCI 18 or 21 and watch how different TF's signal the passing of the trade. I think that most people who think indicators don't work probably try to get too much out of one TF.
Single TF indicator trading requires a lot of refinement, skill and screen time working with your preferred indicator/s. There are 3 traders who visit this thread that I know of who have developed their set-up to this level... all different to each other and because of the effort involved none want to hand over their "secret-sauce" as it's been called.
But everyone I know who has cracked indicator trading has red hot PA skills and uses them to gain an edge. The biggest points I want to make is you don't need them to make money and lots of it, but if you crack them the profits sure do go up.
