Phol,

Thanks! Wish you good luck in your trades as well...

Charly,

I only trade EURUSD (wrote about it in my first post of this thread), that's why never mention which pair. :)

Analyzing short now and came to the following conclusion:

I took it off trendlines thats why got a bit earlier, but it was an obvious no-brainer (classic triangle) from all other analytical views as well...

Moral:

triangles are often ATM. I got hit earlier today on a first triangle BO, but this one more than paid off...

guys I was in tick charts but if you just used the 5 min and a simple T/L + the most basic S&R you g ot it big - even if you missed the top/start

top and btm

More fine entries is what I'm just learning and what yoohoo just described is my bread and butter (price and various S/R including trendlines). :)

yoohoo,

That's exactly what I used (and it's base of my methodology at all). 5min charts, trendlines and S/R... :p

Yip, we try to refine that so whatever the market we can trade but 5 min is the fallback - that's why we start with 4 simple timeframes and 5 is the lowest until those relationships are understood

Yea, thats my "stable" level which BTW still has a lot more potential if consider bigger picture (what I'm learning to do)...

But finer entries which then include mentioned above, that is the real art I want to grasp... :)

Question for Yoohoo, CFerret, cvds16

all you guys are using Prorealtime, my question is have any of you taken a look at Metastock Pro FX, i ask becouse im interested in getting some good charting software, and from what im reading Metastock Pro FX seems like a better option.

for FX it data feed come from Reuters and there feed has 800 Contributing Banks for FX data and of course you get Reuters live news feed with Quote Center , and its won the Stocks and Commodities Readers' Choice Award 13 times, don't think its some sort of sales pitch im seriously comparing my options before i buy.

i was comparing prices and they both cost about the same just wondering what you guys think before i pick one.

Have a look at QUOTETRACKER as well.
Heard lots of good comments about it
and the basic version is free btw.
