you remember what Hog says about the range of the first 30 minute? and maybe using it as a vola indictor etc?

something like that, felt that my local market usually goes 30min, considering something like 100 pts range = a slow day, >100 pts = fast day etc, just to gauge the vola and adjust the profit traget/trade exit..

Hi, you know what? I got to know CF since last March, and I too followed JH's materials, but not traded it. Also chat to Hog daily, and BJ when he is on land. Yoohoo is straight and direct, even he start to use some fancy terms, who doesn't? even Hog does that, but to be fair, you need to name it something to your liking, so there are no friction in your mind, when you use it/trade off it. Another word, you can consider it as conditioning for your mind..

Yoohoo is sweet, terms are not excessive. Nothing remotely close to JH, IMHO.

CFerret, how did you square the short from 69 at 45 when my chart shows that 45 wasn't reached until 6 minutes later?

yoohoo, what exactly is the definition of a Key Reversal? Googling it came up with what looked like an engulfing pattern on candlesticks. But some of the K/Rs you have posted appear to be the exact opposite (open and close are within the range of the previous bar, rather than outside it).

If I might add to the discussion of yoohoo's insights. I've had a hard time following some of his posts, but I've had the same problem understanding some of CFerret's trades too (like the one mentioned above). I can say that yoohoo's insights into timeframe interaction is quite a revelation for me though.

For me (by your post guess that for you too) ET forum timestamps wrong time when you post. It shows post as done several minutes earlier than actual time of the post.

That's how I did it... LOL :D
