On the contrary you can watch the big chart and almost fall asleep when a 1 Hr chart is caught in a tiny range. Playing the chop on the 1 min will do two things for you...
1. it puts pips in the bag
2. when the breakout comes you should be riding it.
Remember the guys are expecting the move up - what better way to catch it than like this? Years ago I made a note to myself after being bored out of the inception of a number of big moves and it went like this...
"see the narrow chop in the 1 min as a build up of energy for the B/o"
It keeps me interested and in profit.
