Intraday does not make sense.

intraday makes sense if

you have low capital

do not like over night or longer risk:you only hold for maybe 10 min to 200 min

like extremely high return

have a lot of time during the day

strange ...

Why keep on proving to others how unworkable day trading is ?
If day trading doesn't work for you, or if you don't believe it will work,
then simply don't use it and use other trading strategy.

Different people have different capability, competencies, subconscious mind.
Some are more suited for day trading.
Some are more suited for swing trading.
Some are more suited doing other things.

There are thousands of ways to profit from the market.
Just need to discover which strategy works for you.

yes the market is there for YOU. do what you like with it as you please.

There are patterns that repeats themselves in every time frame and in every chart. Watch price action for a long time and it will come to you... or maybe you will be lucky and stumble upon it online somewhere. Even when you have a pattern though, pulling money out consistently is still like beating your head against the wall.
When you have identified a pattern the money pours out. PM me an es pattern and I will make us a fortune or show you where your assumption has led to false conclusions. After 1 comes 2, then 3. Betting on three after 2 will produce 100 winners. If it does not, not a pattern.
If the premises are correct, developed logically, good chance the conclusions are accurate. No one has total knowledge other than GOD. He's not on ET

Intraday does not make sense if you can't trade. You'd think that would be self-evident but apparently not.

He misses the required abilities to trade and on top of that he misses the intelligence to understand that. Desperate case...

I remember your old posts were all about automated trading... Did you change to manual or still algo?
Hello _eug_

Good question.

I stop developing automated trading strategies and now I only trade discretionary manually everyday.

For my (only me) experience, I could not find an edge or profitable trading systems after about 6-8 months of trying. In addition, I was not trading everyday so I was losing my day-to-day market experience.

Although, I enjoy programming with NinjaTrader, I just run out of ideas to test and I was started to curve fit alot.

So now I am discretionary trading and I am more comfortable and somewhat profitable with this. For me (and only me), I believe manually trading what I see at the moment best fit my personality. I honestly do not have enough chart screen time to back test ideas.
