Before anyone asks.... the .rar format is another compressed file format, like .zip files. An *excellent* and FREE program that handles this file type is at www.ultimatezip.com. I've completely replaced WinZip on my system.

pjtomtai and others, I appreciate the selfless work you've done and are doing for the rest of us traders, so please don't misinterpret the following. As much as I would love to get my hands on some of the data, my past experience with KaZaA (being infected with some spyware which caused severe degradation in internet access for several weeks before I pinpointed and eliminated the problem) prevents me from ever accessing that site again. Read about their latest scourge :

Well, it seems there's a problem with KaZaA, someone emailed me they couldn't find the files.

Some people mentioned here that they need intraday data. Our product Historical Quotes Downloader loads historical quotes for stocks, indices and options on an intraday format 1,5,10,15,20,30 minutes and 1,2,4 hourly data 500 quotes per request back up to 2 years.

That's great. I agree that is the right place for it. However, I am not affiliated with the site in any way. If you are speaking of the links at the site, those should be done automatically. If you don't see them, contact the site owner (see the Contact or Help section at the site). I'm just a contributor to that site, like you.

If you mean links here, then once you see your data at traders2traders, just go to the page and copy the line in the URL address bar on your browser. Then paste it into a message here. The linking commands are all taken care of by the software that we are all typing on right now.

TradEdge which is offered through Real Tick offers intrday backtesting and automatically adjusts for the time frame of the bar. Results are posted in text and graphically for each time bar selected.
